Moved by both the environmental damage and the poverty faced by local communities, Gerard sought to find a way to harvest rattan sustainably while improving the livelihoods of those involved. This vision led to the creation of Terima Kasih, a brand dedicated to sustainability and fair working conditions. At Terima Kasih UK, we continue this mission by supporting responsible production practices and empowering local artisans.
